Shipping ~ Orders

Our goal is to ship your chocolate as early in the week as possible to ensure all deliveries are complete before the weekend and prevent the risk of the chocolate sitting in a warehouse, where temperatures are not controlled. Orders received on Friday or Saturday are usually held and mailed on the following Monday.  If a Friday or Saturday delivery is requested, we strongly encourage Overnight shipping and keep in mind, some cities do not have Saturday delivery.

We ship within the United States. 

We do not ship to P.O. Box or APO/FPO addresses.  

We do not ship on national holidays.

USPS Shipping Options:

We know shipping costs can be expensive.  However, we want our chocolate to arrive to you in the best condition.  At this time, we use USPS Priority (1 to 3 Day Delivery) and Overnight Shipping options for all our deliveries, unless we specify differently at the time of your order.  All packages are sent with a tracking number, so you can monitor the progress to the final destination.  If you are shipping chocolates to a warm climate of 70 degrees or higher, we highly recommend the Overnight shipping option.  We realize you have various shipping options at checkout, but please be aware our recommendations are made with the desire for the chocolates to arrive in the best condition.  We want the chocolates to melt in your mouth, not in the box! 
When shipping to warm weather destinations, we will add ice packs to your order for an additional 5.00 charge. 
Bootleg Bourbon Balls cannot be held responsible for delayed or failed deliveries, due to inclement weather, incorrect shipping address details or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Processing Order for Shipment:

Once the order is received, it will generally take us 2 business days to process your request, unless you have chosen Overnight option, which will be priority over other shipments.   Special order requests are best handled by calling 816) 912-6272 and asking for our Customer Service Representative, Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.  Calls after 5 pm will be addressed the following Monday.
